Green Thumb?!

Ok before we try our hands at anything too substantial we thought we'd first try our skills with a living plant. You can see from the first pic, we may have failed our first "child" as we didn't find a sitter while we were on our honeymoon...oops....we are trying to love it back to health though! (For our mom's benefit we tried to capture both the plant and some pics of our house at the same time so yes I realize the plant is small in the pic!) This weekend we invested in two more (yes Scott the perfect number is 3!) so we'll see how we do at these guys. The biggest plant is in the one room Scott gave me to decorate and yes we do have a guest bathroom that is all penguin - thanks to Rachel Kearl! The second plant is posed in front of our rug we bought in Greece on our honeymoon. Any advice anyone???
