Yes, we realize summer is technically over but we never made it to the beach like we'd hoped so we took advantage of a 9/80 week last week and hit Ocean City, Maryland. There weren't too many folks out at the beach as rain was threatened, and maybe actually did hit a little, but we had fun and it did hit 80 degrees at some point. Scott was most daring and got all of the way in the water while I only ventured in up to my waist. Much of the commercial side of the beach didn't start operating until we were heading out, i.e. the ferris wheel, but we didn't mind as we enjoyed just sitting on our chairs and catching up on some reading. This past weekend ended up being motorcycle week at Ocean City so we got our fill of both hearing and seeing them. The most random site was driving in and the parking lot of McDonalds and Harley Davidson were just packed with motorcycles...we missed getting a pic on the way in so you don't get the full jist of it in the one we posted as literally the WHOLE lot was full.
Here's to hoping next year includes true time at the beach in MD...

What is that in that picture at the beach? Flying garbage? Flying monkeys?
lol...kites. There is a kite store along the boardwalk so they like to lure people in by flying them.
Dang we missed out! That beach looks nice! Hopefully we'll be able to join you guys next time!! Glad you had a relaxing time!
